Meeting point: Nipponbashi Station, Exit 2 (near Namba/Shinsaibashi). The itinerary includes a visit to Kishi Station in Wakayama, known for Stationmaster Tama and her successor Nitama, followed by a short ride (approximately 15 minutes, train type depends on schedule) on a cat-themed local train (examples: Strawberry Train, Tama Train, Toy Train). Time at Kishi Station includes access to a cat-themed café, shop, and collectible stamps. The tour then proceeds to ToreTore Ichiba, a large seafood market in the Nanki Shirahama region, where a tuna cutting demonstration is scheduled (the demonstration may be canceled due to weather or other circumstances); lunch is at participants' own expense. An optional visit to Toretore Onsen in Shirahama includes access to onsen facilities and features a salt-stone bedrock bath and sodium bicarbonate spring water; the onsen is noted in historical accounts and has a long history. The route continues to coastal sites including Senjojiki and the Sandanbeki cliffs, and a visit to sea-level caves reached by an elevator approximately 36 meters down, with exhibits related to the area's history.
