Full description

The itinerary begins in Kyoto at Kiyomizu-dera Temple and follows a recommended route: Kiyomizu-dera → Ninenzaka & Sannenzaka → Ishibei-koji Alley → Hanamikoji Street → Yasaka Shrine. A kimono rental is available (self-paid) with pickup near Kiyomizu-dera and return near Fushimi Inari. The route continues to Fushimi Inari Taisha, known for its rows of red torii gates; visitors may decorate fox-shaped ema (prayer plaques). The tour proceeds to Nara Park to observe free-roaming deer; deer crackers can be purchased on site and caution is advised around groups of deer. There is an optional visit to Todaiji Temple (entry fee required), which includes a large wooden hall and a large bronze Buddha statue. The route concludes with return to Osaka.
