08:00 Departure from Fukuoka. 10:40 Kumamoto: Mount Aso – Nakadake Crater (approx. 15–20 mins free time; access may be restricted depending on volcanic activity). Kusasenri Grassland (approx. 60 mins free time and lunch break; lunch not included) at the foot of Mount Eboshi, with open grassland and a central pond. Optional: Aso Volcano Museum (admission not included). Optional: Horse riding across the grassland (at own expense). 12:50 Kumamoto: Aso Shrine (approx. 30–40 mins free time); the shrine site is recorded as an Important Cultural Property. 14:10 Kumamoto: Kurokawa Onsen (approx. 90 mins free time; onsen admission not included); the springs are described as mineral-rich and have been used for centuries. Some bathhouses may restrict entry for people with tattoos. 15:40 Begin return journey to Fukuoka. 18:00 Approximate arrival in Fukuoka (return time may vary due to weather, traffic, or other factors).
