Full description
Meet the guide at Tokyo Station or Shinjuku Station and travel by bus to Hakone. Visit Hakone Shrine, founded in 757, and see the red Torii gate on Lake Ashi (Torii gate will be closed from Dec.28th to Feb.10th,2026). There is an optional, self-paid pirate ship cruise on Lake Ashi (three themed ships: Royal II, Victory, Queen Ashinoko); alternatively travel by vehicle to Togendai Ropeway Station. Ride the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani, a geothermal valley formed during a large eruption of Mt. Hakone about 4,000 years ago, where locally boiled black eggs are available. Lunch is not included; participants may bring food or purchase meals on site. Continue to Lake Yamanaka (Swan Lake Shore) where swans are present and Mt. Fuji can be photographed from the shore, then visit Oshino Hakkai, a site of eight ponds fed by Mt. Fuji’s snowmelt, before returning to Tokyo.

- ***Pay attention: The tour duration may exceed 10 hours due to traffic. The Lake Ashi pirate ship costs ¥1,700 and is optional. The guide can help you buy tickets.
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. Late arrivals are non-refundable. Several of our guides will be at the meeting point. The tour guide is holding a yellow flag.
- Ropeway will be closed due to the bad weather or maintenance, please email us for the ticket refund of 1000JPY per person.

- Visibility of Mt. Fuji depends on the weather, we can't guarantee —please check the forecast in advance.
