Full description
Day trip from Tokyo to Lake Ashi, Hakone, and Enoshima. The itinerary includes a stop at Lake Ashi with views of the Hakone Shrine torii gate and a themed sightseeing cruise on the Hakone “pirate ship.” An optional Hakone Ropeway segment runs between Ubako and Owakudani, passing over volcanic terrain with visible steam vents and views toward Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi. A visit to Owakudani covers the volcanic valley, sulfur vents, hot springs, and the locally sold black eggs boiled in the springs. The route continues to Enoshima Island via the bridge, passing Benzaiten Nakamise Street and Enoshima Shrine (noted in the itinerary as having over 1,500 years of history), then includes a stop at Komachi Street in Kamakura before returning to Tokyo.
