Full description
The tour departs Tokyo at 8:00 AM and travels to Hakone with scheduled stops: 10:30 AM at Hakone Shrine, 12:10 PM at Lake Ashi (option to board the Hakone Pirate Ship for an additional fee; guests who do not board may continue by bus to Togendai Ropeway Station), 12:40 PM on the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani where volcanic steam and sulfur vents are visible and local black eggs (kuro-tamago) are sold, 3:00 PM at Lake Yamanaka (Swan Bay), and 3:40 PM at Oshino Hakkai to see the eight clear springs and surrounding traditional village features; the return toward Tokyo starts around 4:20 PM. Lunch is not included; participants may bring food or purchase lunch at attractions or local restaurants recommended by the guide.
