Pick-up from your hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh and travel to Cairo in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle; the transfer is described as a four-hour journey and includes complimentary snacks and bottled water. On arrival in Cairo you meet a professional Egyptologist guide and select visits from listed landmarks, including the Giza Plateau (the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, and the Sphinx) with an optional camel ride. The route may include the Grand Egyptian Museum, located near the Giza pyramids, and the Muhammad Ali Mosque within the Saladin Citadel, known as the Alabaster Mosque and noted for its marble paneling and twin minarets reportedly reaching 84 meters. The itinerary can also include Khan El-Khalili market and the Egyptian Museum, which houses archaeological exhibits spanning from the Predynastic Period to the Greco-Roman era.
